Bauhaus

2017

Website design.

Bauhaus is an exclusive venue for the discerning customer, filled with minimalist, contemporary pieces at a mid-level price. With brands such as Muuto, Camerich, Our House, Karpenter and Wendelbro they take pride in the quality and style of their products. This quality and contemporary minimalism is reflected in the site design.

Working with True Advertising, putting this vision together, we captured the essence of an aspirational life.

Spark

2014

Experiential concept

For the rebrand of Spark this experiental concept was part of the launch. Using Xbox Kinect to detect hand movements the user could draw objects, write messages or anything they want, and have it appear on a large LCD screen in front of them. Once verified it could be pushed to social media, large LCDs located around New Zealand and to a website in real time. Users could also 'make their spark' from the website, using their desktop cameras (or from the mobile app), and these would be placed in the queue. Not only was this promoting Spark but helping charities and giving them exposure. Users would also have the option to donate to the specified charity.

Sovereign Insurance

2013

Website design

Sovereign Insurance Progressive Care is designed with the future in mind. Payments are based on the severity of a medical condition, the more serious it is, the greater the payment. It doesn’t cancel after a claim, but can pay out on subsequent claims, whilst cover remains.

The main purpose of the site is to explain to potential clients the benefits and how the policy works in the most simplest possible terms. The main guide for this was done through step-by-step animations, portraying four different scenarios and how it would affect each person through their period of time on Progressive Care. There is also graphical animations to explain the categories of conditions and levels of severity, depending on the circumstances of that condition plus a glossary of terms.

My involvement was concepting, IA, wireframing, creative and art direction and design lead. I contracted and directed Fuman Design to illustrate the anatomical figures.

Users can join the Chelsea baking club, where they can post recipes and share information, get information on Chelsea Sugar products and get baking tips and advice. This design was also carried through to the Australian CSR site.

Australasian home bakers have now got recipes and information on any device in their kitchens.

As part of this project the NZ Sugar corporate sites were also designed.
